The holiday season can be a stressful time for many. Join professional artist and mental health advocate, Amy Frank, to learn an Art As Therapy technique called Scribble Art. This two-hour workshop will focus on community building and using art therapeutically. Amy will touch upon things she’s learned from art that apply to life and that have aided her own mental health and addiction recovery. Participants will learn and practice the scribble art technique, which is a way to express and process your emotions. This technique is a fun and healthy way to express internal conflict but it is not a substitute for professional mental health services. Participants should bring a sketchbook, pencil, eraser, and pen. Accessibility Notes: • This program takes place in the Brereton Room. There are eight stairs to enter the program location.
