Join Satinflower Nurseries and Pollinator Partnership Canada in MeadowMakers! This seven-month program will guide you through the process of rewilding spaces with native plants such as yards and boulevards. MeadowMakers will receive in-depth training by local native plant, ecosystem, and bee experts in a series of workshops and field trips. Field days will include native plant and bee identification walk and talks, and trips to see local restoration projects. The group will troubleshoot problems and support each other in their efforts through a resource-sharing platform. Recordings of the sessions will be made available to participants throughout the program. FULL PROGRAM INFORMATION & SESSION DESCRIPTIONS AVAILABLE AT: • Ongoing virtual training workshops (eleven total) that will take you step-by-step through converting your boulevards and lawns to native plant and wildlife habitat • Learning plant identification and bee identification • Learning about local ecology • A practical and meaningful way to engage with nature and help protect it. • Field trips and outings to profile projects and natural areas to help in your learning • Members can choose to have a MeadowMaker sign marking their property as habitat • Access to technical how-to guides and resources • A community of like-minded people working to create habitat MeadowMakers will receive discounts across a range of services: • 10% off seed and plants from Satinflower Nurseries through the year • Discounts on in-person meadow consultations to discuss project goals and develop a custom plan including site prep, planting choices, wildlife enhancements, and maintenance • Plant and pollinator surveys of your property with specialists • Individual virtual consultation Logo designed by Sarah Jim -
